Just some personal rambling:
I remember on one occasion, a co-worker of mine, who believed in astrology, emailed me some links that he wanted me to read about astrology ect…so I spoke to an elder (super-dub) about the links and the other questions that he had.
I took my laptop with me in FS (a couple years ago), then after, we stopped at his house to look at the links my co-worker sent me…as soon as the elder saw the links, he told me to clean my cache, bookmarks, history and to reset my internet browser, then shut my computer down so that the demons wouldn’t influence me to view those sites again…he totally freaked out. A couple weeks later, this elder and I were doing street work, we went into a store to purchase some drinks…he always had cash on him…he wasn’t a fan of credit/debit cards…on our way out, were a group of girls selling cookies, for some church fundraising..I asked him how he’s going to handle that…we both walked out the store together and he said “I’m guessing you don’t accept credit cards do you?”…I couldn’t believe it…how the heck are some 4 year old girl’s suppose to know what a credit card is? He also lied…what a jerk…appointed by holy spirit my ass…
My sister:
I’m so proud of my sister (biologic)…she was brought up in the cult like myself, but left and went to live with her aunt at a young age…hence she no longer had to go to meetings ect…she started coming back to the khall when she was in her 20’s, but it never lasted…thank God!!!
She eventually went to start a family for herself, she never got baptized…she sent me photos of her attending a birthday party ect….my nephew (7 years old) is enrolled in a martial arts training center..and she’s living life…I just wished I had followed in the footsteps of my older sister….my parents hardly communicate with her, partly due to her decision not to abide by the rules of the borg.
The recent conventions:
I stayed home…but thanks to JWN & youtube, I watched the new DVD and saw copies of the other releases…that DVD is like a soap-opera. My thought on the new DVD:
- If you leave home, you’re automatically going to become friends with alcoholic
- Once you leave the cult, you’re life will go down the drain
- Having a good job is BAD
- Leaving the family business is BAD
- Going through rush-hour traffic will affect your spirituality
- Leaving the family business is a No – No!!
The borg is definitely tightening it’s grip…even after reading the December 2013 Watchtower that was posted on here. Despite the bashing of higher education, my dad (an elder) does support my decision to pursue my masters degree since my work-place will be providing financial assistance…I still do have to send him a FS report…even though I don’t go out in FS. I watched the Drama on youtube…what a joke…just more mind-control!
Just have to laugh:
Everytime I read the presentations from the KM, I can only laugh….householders aren’t given a chance to rebut anything that was said…even if they do so, the KM says “Give householder the literature”…it’s so mechanical now, plus the JW’s don’t know the Bible as they claim…just the sections that the GB wants them to know.
I was always amused at how you’re “spiritual” if can read out answers from the publications word for word…however, if you don’t “answer” at the meetings you’re to be avoided because your “weak”…what a joke!
Mormons preaching online:
I sent some dubs an email a few weeks ago (which was posted here), which shows that the Mormons are taking advantage of technology to share their message to others via online chat…which isn’t a bad idea at all…I doubt the borg would ever allow this, but I’m sure many will like it since they don’t really enjoy D2D. When the dubs responded to the email, they said stuff like “They’re still way behind”, “Jehovah will never use them”, “This sickens me that they use the internet to spread lies”…unbelievable comments! I actually went on the chat section a couple days ago just to check it out and asked some general questions…was cool…it seems they have 2 elders join the chat..just like how 2 persons would do D2D. If the borg ever introduced this…it would just be a bunch of copy & paste from the watchtower library….at least, that’s what I’d do.
Jehovah’s protection:
A couple years ago, a guy who was imprisoned from a neighboring city stated that he changed his life and began studying…ofcourse, the congregation in that city welcome this person with open arms ect…a few months into his study with the borg, a sister was giving him a drop home when he raped and killed her…just makes you wonder sometimes!
July Watchtower:
This is a real joke….nobody questioned anything, just swallowed it…the comments I received were hilarious…too bad their holy-spirit can’t get things right the first time.
Oh well...enjoying the weekend....going to party with some co-workers tonight!
